How to register

Registration is Open for Spring and Summer

2023/24 - FIT Touch Program

This is for those players who only wish to play FIT Touch rugby. This option is available for all ages from – U6-U12/14. Your age is determined by how old you are on September 1.

Annual Registration:  Covers falls, spring, and summer, including t-shirts, is $190 for Alexandria Rugby via TeamSnap, which is discounted $25.  In addition to our fee you will need to register with USA Youth and High School Rugby through RugbyXplorer ($20.79).  This is for the entire year and all three seasons (fall, spring and summer), and covers all costs, including t-shirts.  Registration is NOW open.

Fall Fun League Registration:  Covers our fall program, which is on Sunday afternoons from October 1 to November 19 and costs $65 for Alexandria Rugby via TeamSnap and you get a t-shirt.  In addition to our fee you will need to register with USA Youth and High School Rugby through RugbyXplorer ($20.79).

Spring Fun League Registration:  Covers our spring program, which we plan to have one or two days week and some matches on Saturday.  This will start in March and and end in May and costs $65 for Alexandria Rugby via TeamSnap, which includes a t-shirt.  In addition to our fee you will need to register with USA Youth and High School Rugby through RugbyXplorer ($20.79).  Registration is now open.

Summer Registration:. This is our primary season for FIT Touch, which runs from begining of June to mid-July.  We have practice two days a week and games on Saturday.  It costs $125 for Alexandria Rugby via TeamSnap.  You get a t-shirt.  Summer has an increased cost due to the cost of hosting games as this is the main competitive season.  In addition to our fee you will need to register with USA Youth and High School Rugby through RugbyXplorer ($20.79).  Registration is open

2023/24 - Tackle Rugby

This is for those players who only wish to play Tackle rugby. This option is available for all U12 and U14 players. We also offer a summer 7s tackle option for high school U16 and U18. Your age is determined by how old you are on September 1 and for U12 you must be 10 as of September 1.

Annual Registration: For the whole rugby year (fall, spring, and summer) the all inclusive price is $225 for Alexandria Rugby via TeamSnap.  You will get a couple of t-shirts and other AR items.  There is an additional registration required through USA Youth and High School Rugby, which is done through RugbyXplorer ($62.37).  You also must have a mouthguard (here is an example of one) and navy blue Canterbury rugby shorts.  Registration is now open.

how to Register

It is a Two Step Process

You need to complete a two-step registration process – one with RugbyXplorer and one with TeamSnap. First, you need to register with USA Youth and High School Rugby (this provides insurance and is required to play rugby in Virginia).  Second, you need to register with Alexandria Rugby through TeamSnap. TeamSnap will be the means through which we communicate with you, do scheduling, and attendance tracking so you need to create an account and we recommend downloading the app.

Step 1:  Register with USA Youth and High School Rugby - our club is Alexandria Youth.

  • Go to RugbyXplorer -- https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au
    • FIT Touch Players - select Tag or Touch Rugby
  • Tackle players
    • U12 and U14 will have two options “youth” and “Tag or Touch” – youth is the tackle option
    • 18U - select "high school" - do not select "youth and high school"
